Unlike Whole Body Cryotherapy, which stimulates cold receptors all over the body in order to trigger an internal systemic anti-inflammatory response, localised cryotherapy is comparable to “icing an area”, although much more effective and efficient.
It works from the “outside in” cooling the treatment area. Localised Cryotherapy is used to target specific areas of the body. The process involves cooling that area with a controlled beam of vaporised liquid nitrogen from our direct application machine.
Clients frequently combine this application with Whole Body Cryotherapy, to treat problem areas both from the “inside out” as well as from the “outside in” for faster recovery and pain relief.
Alternatively Localised Cryotherapy is a great substitute for people with health conditions that restrict them from using Whole Body Cryotherapy.
Localised Cryotherapy is great for soft tissue injuries such as tennis elbow and injured knees or shoulders. We have had very positive results helping people with bursitis, plantar fasciitis, disc inflammation, overuse injuries, psoriasis and eczema.
The beauty of localised cryotherapy is that there aren’t any age restrictions so everyBODY can benefit from it. This means that if your child, of any age, has a tumble or injures themselves, localised cryotherapy can help.
Localised Cryotherapy can help get you back to work, school, sport or whatever it may be, in rapid time.
Although we have seen amazing results from a wide range of clients, we cannot say that these things will happen for everyone. The following is a list of things that localised cryotherapy may aid in, individual results may vary.

Unlike Whole Body Cryotherapy there isn't an age restriction. So If your young ones have injured themselves or needing skin treatments, we are able to perform the therapy on them
As long as the vapour can have direct contact with your skin, normal cloths are all that is required. Depending on the treatment area, you may be required to remove some clothing to enable the area to be treated.
